Job summary

Qualifications

• Must obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of Navy technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Document Support.
• Prepare technical manual revisions from existing TM source material and from government supplied change documentation.
• Handles file transfers through approved DoD systems (DoW).
• Burn physical media and apply security labels for distribution.
• Authoring IETM in Visual Studio Code (HTML).
• Task assign/track/complete in Jira.
• Coordinate with on/offsite SMEs for content input.
• Conduct open-source research on system components.
• Prepare documentation for validation/verification events.
• Ensure content follows NAVSEA documentation policies.
• Report changes in progress to project teams to maintain status updates.
• Prepare monthly/weekly reports and other reports as needed.
• Attend customer meetings and training briefs onsite.
