Job summary

Gromelski and Associates is seeking a Technical Writer to research, write, and edit technical content for military equipment, integrated systems, and software. You will produce IETMs and documentation that supports new technologies for the U.S. Navy, ensuring clear communication to diverse audiences.

Preferred candidates hold a DoD SECRET clearance, a Bachelor's degree, and 3+ years of related experience, with HTML/XML/CMS skills and experience in graphic material creation.

Qualifications

• Writes technical content for procedure manuals, service manuals, and related publications describing installation, operation, and maintenance of equipment.
• Uses clear language adhering to customer standards, with strong grammar and composition.
• Gathers and verifies content by interviewing workers and consulting blueprints, drawings, and manuals.
• Defines graphics, tables, figures, and drawings and creates visuals with PowerPoint and Photoshop.
• Experience supporting ICP (Integrated Common Processor) program.

Responsibilities

• Write/edit technical documents for production of IETMs for U.S. Navy systems.
• Develop technical descriptions, procedures, diagrams, and operational specs.
• Document operational and maintenance information for new tech introductions to the U.S. Navy.
• Communicate clearly to a wide range of audiences through documentation.
