Insight Global is seeking a highly experienced Systems Engineer with radar expertise to work onsite in Linthicum, MD. The role involves leading radar system architectures for air-to-ground missions and guiding waveform, antenna, and processing trade studies to meet mission needs.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and communication skills, be eligible for SAP, and hold a relevant advanced degree with extensive experience in MATLAB, Python, and C/C++. U.S.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job description

Insight Global is hiring multiple Secret and Top Secret Cleared System Engineers to work in our Engineering, Integration, and Test Team supporting a large government Program ONSITE in Linthicum Maryland.

The selected candidates will help lead development of radar system architectures for air to ground missions, ensuring alignment with platform and mission needs; Direct and review trade studies on waveforms, antenna design, processing architectures, and CONOPS/mission scenarios, and Guide development and evaluation of Air-to-Ground concepts and algorithms from a systems perspective.

Minimum Job requirements include:

• Candidate must be willing to work onsite in Linthicum Maryland
• Bachelors degree with 12 years of experience, Master's degree with 10 years of experience or Ph.D. with 8 years of experience in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical fields; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
• U.S Citizenship is required
• Ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP).
• Experience of Radar Air-to-Ground applications, including developing and applying models in MATLAB, Python, and/or C/C++
• Experience leading systems engineering for radar or advanced RF sensor systems, including requirements, architecture, modeling, and integration/test.
• Understanding of air to ground radar modes and performance.
• Experience leading complex technical efforts and resolving system level issues across hardware and software boundaries.
• Experience with radar modeling/analysis tools (MATLAB, Python, or equivalent), including end to end performance assessments.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership and customers.

Insight Global is hiring multiple candidates for this role so exact pay will vary based on a number of factors including years of experience, depth on knowledge, clearance level, amongst other factors. However, we anticipate paying 170K - 225K for this role as well as provide a comprehensive benefits package to include health, vision, dental and 401k Benefits.
