Job summary
Northrop Grumman’s Defense Systems Division in Northridge, CA seeks a Software Systems Engineer (Level 3/4) for an on-site role requiring a current US Government Secret clearance. You will translate requirements, design software architecture, and support verification and validation across CSCIs.
The position emphasizes embedded software, systems engineering, and collaboration with software and systems teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in an Engineering discipline with 5+ years of systems engineering experience (or MS with 3+ years)
- Experience with systems engineering tools such as DOORS and CAMEO
- Experience in Embedded Software and ability to read code and verify implementation to SRS
- Experience with system/subsystem/software/hardware integration, test, and verification
- Current US Government Secret security clearance adjudicated in past 5 years
Responsibilities
- Translate system/subsystem software requirements into software requirements for each CSCI
- Collaborate with System and Software engineers to develop software architecture models
- Support Verification and Validation of software products and ensure CSCIs function as intended
- Use Cameo Enterprise Architecture to develop use cases, activity and sequence diagrams
- Write Software Test Plans and Test Descriptions and conduct tests
