Job summary

Decision Technologies, Inc. seeks a Senior Software Engineer (SEG3) to support a 200-person contractor team at the Washington Navy Yard in DC. You will design, develop, and integrate software with hardware, and coordinate with program management across disciplines.

Applicants must be able to obtain a Secret clearance and have extensive experience in surface radars, EW, EO/IR, decoys or laser software systems. Travel to government facilities on the East/West Coasts may be required.

Qualifications

• Three paths to qualification: high school with 20 years of relevant experience OR a bachelor’s degree with 15 years OR a master’s degree with 10 years.
• Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying computer science/engineering/mathematical principles.
• Update or enhance existing software capabilities.
• Collaborate with project management, acquisition, logistics, security to integrate hardware and software systems.
• Maintain databases within an application area.
