Job summary
Information Systems Solutions, Inc. in Sierra Vista, Arizona, is seeking a Senior Linux System Engineer to help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter.
The role focuses on reviewing, analyzing and providing Tier III support for patches and updates, testing baselines in the EOF prior to release. The candidate will design system architectures, develop Enterprise Technical Procedures for applying patches and security configurations, and ensure Linux systems stay compliant with STIGs and DISA
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 5 years’ experience required. An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
- Security STIG compliance and DISA hardening knowledge is required.
- Experience designing and maintaining enterprise Linux environments.
Responsibilities
- Review, analyze and provide Tier III support for patches and updates.
- Design system architecture for new or existing Linux-based computer systems.
- Develop and apply Enterprise Technical Procedures and STIG-based configurations.
- Ensure Linux systems remain compliant with baseline requirements.
- Monitor centralized alerting and lifecycle planning for OS.
