Guidehouse is seeking a Senior Business Analyst/Requirements Analyst in Huntsville to gather, document, and validate business requirements for complex systems. You will translate needs into functional specs for development teams, run workshops, map processes, and create traceability artifacts to support SDLC and Agile or Waterfall projects.

The role requires 3+ years of experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and the ability to obtain a Federal/DoD SECRET clearance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and ability to obtain Secret clearance.
3+ years gathering, analyzing and documenting business requirements, workflows or processes.
Experience using requirements management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, Confluence and ReqIF.

Responsibilities

Gather, document, and validate business requirements from stakeholders.
Translate business needs into clear functional and technical requirements for development teams.
Conduct requirements workshops, interviews, and process mapping sessions.
Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities for improvement or automation.
Create and maintain system requirement specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and traceability matrices.
Collaborate with project managers, developers, testers, and business teams to ensure alignment on scope and priorities.
Support solution design by clarifying requirements and ensuring proposed solutions meet business needs.
Participate in testing activities, including reviewing test cases and validating functionality against requirements.
Monitor changes, manage requirement updates, and maintain documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
