Property Equipment Manager

This position requires an active Secret clearance.

The Property Equipment Manager maintains accountability, inventory control, lifecycle tracking, storage, distribution, shipping, warranty management, and disposition of Government Furnished Property (GFP), Government Furnished Material (GFM), contractor-acquired property, repair parts, and tools for Force Protection (FP) equipment. This position supports the sustainment and readiness of Non-Intrusive Inspection Systems (NIIS), vehicle scanners, barriers, Skywatch Towers, Armored Gate Houses, and related equipment throughout the AFCENT Area of Responsibility (AOR).

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Property Equipment Manager: $70,000 - $75,000

Pay commensurate with experience.

Property Equipment Manager Responsibilities Include:

• Manage complete accountability, inventory control, and Management Information System (MIS) records for Government Furnished Property (GFP), Government Furnished Material (GFM), contractor-acquired property, force-protection equipment, repair parts, tools, and consumables supporting the core missions of FP equipment and inventory.
• Understand and assist to maintain accurate, real-time equipment lifecycle records, including serialized asset details, location, condition, operational and maintenance status, preventive-maintenance schedules, warranty status, inventory history, replacement requirements, and estimated costs.
• Manage storage, warehousing, receiving, inspection, preservation, packaging, configuration, issuance, and Care of Supplies in Storage (COSIS) activities for equipment, materials, tools, and repair parts at Shaw AFB and across the AFCENT AOR.
• Conduct transition, annual, and directed physical inventories; reconcile discrepancies; investigate gains and losses; prepare adjustment documentation; and update records for asset receipt, issue, transfer, repair, relocation, and disposition.
• Maintain required spare-part and consumable stock levels, manage shelf-life-controlled and hazardous materials, coordinate authorized Government and commercial acquisitions, and identify long-lead, obsolete, unavailable, or mission-critical material requirements.
• Coordinates, advises and assists OCONUS Field Service Representatives (FSR) to ensure timely updates to work orders, inventory, tool/equipment/parts/consumable status are accurate, comprehensive and complete.
• Coordinate domestic and international shipping, receiving, transportation, customs, export, hazardous material, tracking, and delivery requirements.
• Support equipment modernization, lifecycle planning, property transfer and disposal, transition activities, and audit-ready reporting to sustain equipment readiness and a 98% Fully Mission Capable rate.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Property Equipment Manager Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

• A High School Diploma or equivalent is required
• At least three (3) years of demonstrated experience managing Government property, supply operations, logistics, warehouse operations, equipment accountability, or lifecycle management in a DoD, federal, or comparable environment
• Experience managing serialized equipment, repair parts, tools, consumables, and high-value technical assets as part of a Lifecycle Management approach
• Experience with shipping and receiving, international logistics, export controls, customs documentation, and hazardous-material shipping requirements
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and database/reporting tools
• Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written
• Preferred: knowledge or experience in electromechanical repair or general equipment maintenance and repair
• An Active Secret Clearance is required; verifiable in JPAS
• Must successfully pass a drug screen, medical clearance, and a background check
• Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
