Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related STEM field (required).
• Minimum of 2 years (level 2) or 5 years (level 3) of relevant experience.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Active Secret clearance at time of application and within scope; investigation date within last 6 years.
• Ability to obtain and maintain SAP approval within a reasonable period.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical contributions for conceptual and preliminary design and technology maturation of new advanced concepts for future deterrence needs in cruise missiles and support systems/subsystems.
• Develop design concepts for launcher capsule and provide technical oversight for avionics and airframe design.
• Contribute to trade studies, architecture development, and system engineering to meet performance, cost, schedule, and risk thresholds.
• Demonstrate ethics, integrity, and ability to innovate while challenging traditional approaches.
• Operate in an advanced design environment and collaborate across suppliers to achieve team goals.
• Transition innovative solutions for US strategic deterrence programs to programs of record.
