Job summary

JANUS Research Group seeks an Operations Research Analyst for NETC at NAS Pensacola, FL. The candidate will serve as a data-driven advisor, ensuring data accuracy, creating ad hoc reports, and supporting program management with analysis, modeling, and data extraction tasks.

Responsibilities include defining objectives, coordinating project efforts, delivering progress reports, and presenting findings to senior government personnel. Local candidates with a Secret clearance are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to the work effort.
• Superior analytical, writing and editing skills and ability to brief seniors.
• Advanced MS Office capabilities including PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and Project Management.
• Active/Current, minimum “Secret” Security Clearance.
• 3–5 years of government market experience with research, analysis, and customer support.
• Proven working experience as a data analyst.
• Technical expertise in data models, database development and maintenance, data mining, and segmentation (SharePoint).
• Strong knowledge of statistics and using statistical packages (Excel or Power BI).
• Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and strong time management.

Responsibilities

• Provide management, analysis, and integration of programs and projects including PM, manpower analysis, oversight, and technical support.
• Assist in defining program objectives and requirements.
• Coordinate all project efforts and interface with senior government personnel.
• Identify data requirements; gather facts and information.
• Develop integrated conclusions and insights; implement actions to meet objectives.
• Produce progress reports and Milestone decision templates.
• Design planning timelines and track program execution and expenditures.
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends in large data sets.
• Filter and clean data; review reports for distribution to internal teams and customers.
• Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
