Job summary

Digital Consultants seeks a Network Administrator to support ARNORTH at Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio, TX. You will handle Tier 1–3 help desk and cybersecurity operations, maintaining NIPRNET/SIPRNET networks and cloud services for roughly 900 users and 1,500 NIPRNET computers.

The role requires 5+ years in network administration, active Secret clearance, and DoD 8570.01-M IAT II certification. Expect 24/7 surge readiness and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5 years of progressive Network administration and experience in information systems operations, configuration control, cloud services, vulnerability management, and life cycle management.
• Clearance: Active Secret
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certifications: DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification

Responsibilities

• Support Tier 2 Network Operations that monitor and maintain ARNORTH Non-Secure IP Router Network (NIPRNET) and Secure IP Router Network (SIPRNET).
• Monitor and maintain cloud-based instances using government-provided tools.
• Provide technical support to detect and mitigate network events affecting ARNORTH networks, including cyber-attacks.
• Monitor and respond to hardware, software, and network problems; perform troubleshooting and replacements.
• Support Tier 3 Technical Management for network management, lifecycle, and IAVM/CTO activities.
• Assist all information systems operations activities including LAN/MAN/WAN administration and MS Office 365 administration.
• Support IT systems and deploy COTS and GOTS technologies including NSA Type 1 encryption devices and VOIP.
• Support SaaS such as Office 365/Google Workspace and cloud storage like OneDrive/Google Cloud.
• Support surge requirements 24/7 during exercises or real-world events.
