Job summary

Digital Consultants LLC seeks a Tier 2 / Operations Task Lead to provide senior technical direction for the planning, design, development, testing, installation, and maintenance of large communications networks for US Army North at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, TX. The role requires IAT II level skills, security clearance, and leadership of a multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities include supervising contract personnel, coordinating with IT and vendor teams, and managing networks

Qualifications

7+ years IT support and cybersecurity operations experience.
4+ years supervisory experience with direct employee oversight.
3+ years VMware virtualization experience.
Experience with Splunk SIEM and incident response.
Proficiency with Windows OS, Office, Teams, .NET, SQL Server, AD, Nutanix, Cisco products.
Active Secret clearance.
Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT-related field, Business Admin/Management, or Technology Management.
DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification.

Responsibilities

Supervise contract personnel in operation and support of large network facilities.
Monitor hardware/software; interface with IT staff and vendors to resolve outages.
Compile records/reports; analyze network performance; plan capacity.
Manage LAN/MAN/WAN support for large-scale projects.
Configure products including on-premise and cloud components.
Oversee IT operations, including cloud operations and security policies.
Support COTS/GOTS tech including NSA Type 1 encryption devices, VOIP, video, and productivity tools.
Lead vulnerability identification and resolution for accreditation.
Provide 24/7 surge support during exercises or real-world events.
Mentor Help Desk Specialists.
