Job summary

RTX (Raytheon) in Andover, MA seeks a Value Stream Leader for the Patriot Missile Manufacturing area. This onsite role leads multi-cell, multi-shift production, driving safety, quality, schedule and cost performance with Lean methods.

You will coordinate with engineering, maintenance, production control, and finance to hit goals, while deploying strategy and measurement tools to improve performance and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and 5 years of experience.
• Experience in Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality and/or Production Control.

Responsibilities

• Overall execution to delivery commitments for production.
• Deployment of manufacturing operations strategy, control systems, tools and metrics to accurately measure progress and drive continuous improvement in a safe environment.
• Overall responsibility for financial metrics including unit hour performance and overhead budgets.
• Workforce planning and forecasting.
• Area layout and flow management.
• Capital identification and control of overhead expenses.
• Ensuring full compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Capital project execution.
