Job summary

Cherokee Federal seeks a Manpower & Personnel Support Technician to join our Government team at Schriever Space Force Base. The role requires handling personnel processing, sponsorships, and readiness activities for 631 CYS personnel, with duties that ensure smooth in/out processing and program management.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree, 5–7 years of related experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5-7 years' experience in a manpower and personnel support role, preferred in a DOW/space force context.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal and judgment skills with minimal oversight.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Government in tracking completion of military and civilian appraisals, awards, and decorations.
• Assist in managing in-processing and out-processing of 631 CYS personnel.
• Monitor personnel readiness of 631 CYS personnel.
• Help manage the 631 CYS unit recognition program.
• Track inbound/outbound Command personnel and manage duty rosters.
• Assist in managing personnel sponsorship program.
• Serve as point of contact for new personnel to 631 CYS.
• Schedule initial training/orientation for new personnel.
• Assist in monitoring the 631 CYS family care program.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
