Job summary

DEFTEC Corporation invites applications for a Junior Human Resources Support Specialist supporting the Contingency Operations Department at DTRA, Fort Belvoir, VA. You will assist with recruitment, onboarding, awards processing, and data reporting to support senior leaders.

Ideal candidates are U.S. citizens with an active Secret clearance, a high school diploma, and at least 5 years of HR support experience in government, military, or corporate environments.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Active Secret clearance required.
• 5+ years of HR support experience in government, military, or corporate environments.
• Experience with civilian hiring processes (CONUS/OCONUS) and reporting.
• Ability to produce clear, accurate correspondence with strong quality control.

Responsibilities

• Provide support tracking HR actions related to recruitment, onboarding, retention, and awards for Civilians and Military.
• Assist with drafting and processing documentation for DTRA workflow platforms.
• Prepare data and reports to support senior leadership decisions.
• Assist with personnel in-processing and out-processing as needed.
