Job summary

Koniag Government Services seeks a Maintenance Technician with a Secret clearance to support a federal government facility in Williamsburg, KY. The role covers maintenance, repair, and inspection of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and controls.

Candidates should have 3+ years of related experience, EPA 608 certification, and the ability to obtain/maintain a security clearance. Federal facility experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; vocational/technical training preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years hands-on building maintenance experience.
• Experience maintaining mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems in gov/industrial environments.
• Valid EPA Section 608 refrigerant handling certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance inspections of building systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Respond to work orders with timely resolution and minimal disruption to operations.
• Maintain HVAC equipment including air handling units, chillers, boilers, cooling towers, and controls.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and inventory, and ensure safety compliance.
