Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional editing, proofreading, research and document quality control.
• Experience preparing executive correspondence, publications, or archival materials for senior leadership review.
• DoD or military correspondence editing experience a plus.
• Active SECRET clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Edit, write, proofread, research, index, and fact-check NGB plans, policies, instructions, memoranda, and guidelines prior to publication.
• Review NGB products for grammar, spelling, format, and style; ensure correspondence is executive-level ready.
• Provide editorial advice and recommendations to NGB staff and workflow managers.
• Manage staffing products through editorial review to ensure on-time completion within one revision cycle.
• Support publishing, editing, and archival media services for staff actions and correspondence.
