Job summary

CATHEXIS in Arlington, VA, is seeking a Senior Editor and Administrative Analyst to support the Office of the Under Secretary of War for Personnel and Readiness. You will ensure the quality, accuracy, and DoW compliance of correspondence and staff action packages for senior DoW leadership.

The role requires a current Secret clearance, a Bachelor's in English/Journalism/Communications/Public Policy, and at least seven years of editorial experience, with MS Office and SharePoint proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Public Policy, or related field.
• Minimum of seven years of editorial, writing, and analytical experience, including support for senior government or military leadership.
• United States citizen required to obtain DoW clearance.
• Current Active Secret Clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior editorial authority for review, quality control, and final release of correspondence and staff action packages.
• Review, edit, and route high volume of packages weekly for senior DoW leadership.
• Lead and mentor junior analysts and editors with final quality reviews.
