Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years of relevant composite experience in aerospace, defense, or similar industries.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.
• Proficient in reading technical drawings.
• Skilled with tooling and equipment: calipers, micrometers, torque wrenches, pneumatic tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform composite operations: hand lay-up (pre-preg and wet), vacuum bagging, trimming, and finishing.
• Prepare molds and tools by cleaning, applying release agents, and setting up materials.
• Assist with curing processes per established procedures and instructions.
• Trim and finish composite parts to engineering specifications.
• Document completed work and maintain production and quality records.
• Read and interpret work instructions and drawings; follow process documentation.
• Adhere to safety protocols when handling resins and solvents in controlled environments.
• Collaborate with team members and cross-functional departments to support production.
