Job summary

JANUS Research Group is seeking a Cloud Cybersecurity Engineer to lead security policy, compliance, and information assurance for enterprise cloud applications. The role champions a DevSecOps approach to RMF processing and DoD ATO lifecycle guidance.

You will collaborate with senior DoD stakeholders, provide architectural security guidance, and ensure compliance with DoD, NIST, and FedRAMP standards in a dynamic cloud environment.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required.
• Minimum 8 years of cybersecurity engineering or information assurance.
• Experience navigating ATO lifecycle and RMF processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide cybersecurity policy, strategy, and compliance oversight for enterprise cloud applications.
• Develop system security and information assurance documentation for certification and accreditation.
• Implement modern DevSecOps practices aligned with NIST SP 800-53 Rev. 5.
• Devise policy recommendations to streamline ATO timelines.
• Offer hands-on guidance for platform- and application-level security controls.
• Engage with senior policy directors to align technical execution with mission objectives.
