Job summary

ASRC Federal in Reston, VA seeks a Chief Architect to lead technology strategy for the Defense & Intelligence Operating Group. You will drive integration of emerging capabilities, align with enterprise goals, and steer growth through major proposals and on-contract initiatives.

You will partner with the Operating Group President, CTO, and business development to shape investments, roadmaps, and customer solutions in a fast-paced federal environment. Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, or equivalent and 12 years of relevant years of experience in a senior technical role with responsibilities that include hands-on technology development, strategic technology insertion, and operational execution in a demanding federal government environment.
• Five years of work experience engaging with commercial partners (e.g., hyper-scalers and commercial technology providers)
• Proven ability to work effectively with diverse groups and personalities across different levels of an organization.
• Demonstrable success and strong track record of leading technical strategies for major proposals and 'on-contract' growth initiatives.
• Experience in researching, identifying and advocating for group-specific technical needs and influencing enterprise-wide investment strategies.
• Excellent partnership and collaboration skills, particularly with business development and solution architecture teams.
• Comfortable working as a 'player/coach' personally delivering results in a time-critical, fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in overseeing technology lifecycles from pilot stages to full deployment.

Responsibilities

• Technology, Strategy Alignment & Innovation: Drive the integration of emerging capabilities into programs and define a roadmap for OG solutions.
• Collaborate across ASRC Federal Operating Groups to leverage past performance and enable growth proposals.
• Business & Contract Growth: Lead solutions strategy for major proposals and on-contract growth initiatives.
• Technology solutions architecture team: build and deploy a cadre of OG-specific solution architects.
• Enterprise Advocacy & Investment: translate gaps into formal requirements for enterprise investment.
• Investment Review Board (IRB) Participation: engage with senior leaders to drive high-value capabilities.
• Product & Proposal Strategy: represent capabilities to customers and align with BD and leadership.
• Operational Stewardship: ensure OG/local roadmaps stay aligned with enterprise strategy.
