Job summary

Peerless Technologies is seeking an experienced Journeyman Avionics Engineer to support the F-22 program office at Hill Air Force Base, UT.

The role involves applying DoD and USAF engineering principles to improve the performance and sustainment of avionics systems, translating requirements into system architectures, and providing oversight for design, analysis, testing, and fielding of weapon systems and subsystems.

Qualifications

• MSAA experience with F-22 or other fighter/bomber in modernization/sustainment phases.
• Degree in engineering from ABET-accredited program; degrees in engineering technology not acceptable.
• Active SECRET clearance with SAP eligibility, if required.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight for avionics architecture, system interfaces, and dependencies.
• Translate user requirements into weapon system requirements for design, development, testing, and fielding.
• Support DoD/USAF engineering efforts to improve performance and sustainability of avionics systems.
