Albers Aerospace is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic with an active Secret clearance to inspect, diagnose and repair power plant malfunctions on aircraft. The role requires hands-on engine work, component repair, and adherence to maintenance procedures.

Travel on CONUS/OCONUS deployments is required, and strong knowledge of aircraft publications and systems is essential. The ideal candidate has an FAA A&P license, 1+ year of maintenance experience, and the ability to lift 50+ pounds.

Qualifications

• Must have active Secret US Government clearance; US Citizenship required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant military/vocational training acceptable.
• Minimum of 1 year of Aircraft Mechanic maintenance experience.
• Advanced knowledge of mechanical maintenance and repair.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft mechanical publications and procedures.
• Understanding of engines, flight controls, and related systems.
• Ability to inspect and operate ground support equipment.
• Willingness to travel on deployments (CONUS/OCONUS).
• Must pass required courses/certifications for continued employment.
• Must lift/carry 50+ lbs and work with military equipment.
• English reading/writing/speaking ability required.
• Valid state driver's license and ability to obtain flight-line DL.

Responsabilités

• Inspect and repair power plant malfunctions and leaks.
• Diagnose malfunctions, isolate causes, and fix issues.
• Test engine operations and locate sources of faults.
• Remove/repair engines and major components using lifting devices.
• Disassemble and inspect parts for wear or defects.
• Repair/replace defective engines and reassemble/install engines.
• Adjust and repair instruments, controls, and fuel/oil systems.
• Perform engine flushing, lubrication, and maintenance checks.
• May specialize in repair/modification of engines and assemblies.
• Suggest maintenance procedure improvements for quality.
