Job summary

Albers Aerospace seeks an Aircraft Mechanic with Inspection Authority to perform inspection, maintenance, repair, and modification of aircraft engines and mechanical systems. You will ensure mission readiness and compliance with safety regs in a dynamic environment, supporting CONUS and OCONUS operations. Applicants must have active SECRET clearance, 10+ years of experience, and Beech B300 knowledge.

A valid U.S. passport and English proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Active SECRET US Government clearance or recently held SECRET clearance within the last 2 years.
• High School Diploma or equivalent military/vocational training.
• Minimum of 10 years of Aircraft Mechanic maintenance experience.
• Advanced knowledge of maintenance on Beech B300 aircraft.
• Advanced knowledge of technical publications for aircraft maintenance.
• Extensive troubleshooting, sheet metal/structural repair, and component replacement.
• Understanding of engines, flight controls, and electronic systems.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment (>50 lbs).
• Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• Valid State Driver’s License and ability to obtain a Government Driver’s License.
• Willingness to travel on OCONUS deployments and meet pre-deployment medical criteria.
• Active U.S. Passport with at least two years remaining.

Responsibilities

• FAA certified A&P/IA for inspection and repair tasks.
• Inspect and repair engine/malfunctioning systems and components.
• Diagnose malfunctions and isolate causes; perform testing with appropriate equipment.
• Disassemble/inspect parts for wear and defects; replace engine components as needed.
• Repair/replace engine components and reinstall engines on aircraft.
• Adjust/repair instruments, controls, and fuel/oil systems as required.
• Perform engine servicing, lubrication, and routine maintenance checks.
• Sign off aircraft write-ups per US Army AR95-1 procedures.
• Support CONUS/OCONUS operations while ensuring safety and quality.
