Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance D - A&P Mechanic at U.S. bases in Florida. The role involves scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on all aircraft systems, including turbine engines, airframes, and flight controls.

You will perform inspections, troubleshoot, and manage parts, with opportunity to train others and support mission requirements. Requires FAA A&P certification, 8+ years of experience, ability to obtain a US Secret security clearance, and a valid state

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant certificate and be capable of obtaining a US Secret security clearance.
• Demonstrated ability to perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance using OEM procedures and technical data.
• Strong understanding of aircraft systems, tooling, and maintenance documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled/unscheduled aircraft maintenance on turbine engines, airframes, and systems.
• Conduct inspections, troubleshooting, and component repairs following OEM procedures.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with safety and security policies.
• Assist in training newly assigned personnel and support deployment requirements.
