Job summary

IDS International in Maryland is seeking an Access Control Specialist to support secure construction operations for U.S. Government facilities. You will manage access points, screen personnel and materials, perform patrols, and report security incidents in accordance with CSP and escalation procedures.

The role requires an Active Secret clearance, U.S. citizenship, and the ability to work 48 hours per week with weekend shifts.

Qualifications

Active Secret clearance required.
U.S. Citizenship required.
21 years or older.
Experience in access control or security for classified facilities or construction sites.
Ability to screen personnel and materials and conduct patrols.

Responsibilities

Control and monitor access to secure construction areas and verify badges and authorizations.
Inspect personnel, materials, and equipment per CSP and Post Orders.
Conduct interior and exterior patrols and document activity.
Identify, document, and report security incidents or power loss.
Coordinate with CSTs for deliveries and alternate entrances.
Perform duties in compliance with SOW, CSP, and Guard Orders.
Ensure only authorized personnel, materials, tools, and vehicles access sites.
Conduct inspections and walking patrols to maintain security coverage.
