Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. (JP) seeks a Systems Administrator to support classified government contracts on-site at the Redondo Beach, CA location. The role requires a Secret clearance and may involve 10% travel.

Qualifications

Master's Degree with 3 years of experience or equivalent
Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of experience or equivalent
Associate's Degree with 7 years of experience or equivalent
High School Diploma with 9 years of experience or equivalent
Security+ certification required
US Government Secret clearance or higher required
Ability to obtain Top Secret clearance and Special Programs access
Experience with Windows domains and AD/GPOs/Policies/permissions

Responsibilities

Perform as a Computer Systems Analyst in support of classified government contracts.
Exhibits good communication skills and a proactive, patient approach with customers.
Maintain customer satisfaction and adhere to policies.
Provide status updates for recurring and non-recurring efforts.
Support multiple networks and Windows administration tasks, coordinating with team members.
Maintain operations of multi-user systems with engineers and IT staff.
Review customer requirements and advise on hardware/software upgrades.
Maintain and ensure reliability through upgrades, monitoring, and configuration management.
Ensure system compliance via Group Policy and other technologies.
Provide backup and recovery services; manage file systems and disk space; manage antivirus protection.
Test new releases for compatibility and minimize impact to users.
Develop and maintain technical documentation of system processes.
Adhere to information security guidelines and assist with IS security documentation.
Maintain security audit/logging information per ISSM directions.
Collaborate across disciplines to isolate issues across software/hardware/networks.
Support environments via ticketing systems (ServiceNow, JIRA).
Escalate issues requiring senior attention.
Lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds.
Work after hours and weekends as needed.
