Job summary

RTX in Andover, MA is seeking a Production Maintenance Technician on 2nd shift. The role requires diagnosing and repairing a wide range of mechanical, CNC, electronic, and hydraulic equipment on site.

Qualified candidates have at least 5 years of maintenance experience, 4-year apprenticeship, U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance; the position offers union representation and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of related maintenance experience.
• 4 years of apprenticeship in maintenance trade or equivalent.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required; U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose equipment and repair a wide variety of machinery from prints and diagrams.
• Perform maintenance on forklifts, cranes, conveyors, and related equipment.
• Fabricate jigs, fixtures, and tools for maintenance tasks.
• Move heavy machine parts and disassemble/assemble machinery.
• Maintain records and follow safety rules in performance of duties.
