Job summary

Core4ce in San Antonio, Texas is seeking a Network Administrator to configure, install, and support network infrastructure, ensure security compliance, and drive IT development projects.

The role covers planning and configuring switches/routers/firewalls, troubleshooting, and managing 1st–3rd shifts; requires a Secret Clearance and 8570 IAT II certification. Join a team focused on strengthening national security through robust networks.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance or eligible to obtain a Secret Clearance.
• 1-2 years hands-on experience as a Network Administrator.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 8570 IAT Level II Certification and CND Infrastructure Support within 6 months.
• Solid understanding of firewalls, routers, switches, and other network technologies incl. Palo Alto and Cisco Firewalls.
• Experience with LAN/WAN, VPN, IPS and related technologies.
• Experience with TCPDump, Wireshark and analyzing network traffic.
• Understanding of essential network services such as DNS, SMTP, NTP, IMAP, SNMP.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule installation of new or modified network hardware and systems.
• Manage accounts and network rights.
• Configure network hardware and software infrastructure incl. switches/routers/firewalls.
• Analyze and resolve faults from major outages to password issues.
• Ensure systems availability, integrity, and efficiency; maintain configuration.
• Manage installation and integration of system fixes, updates, and enhancements.
• Ensure rigorous application of information security policies and practices.
• Shifts: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd; 1st 6:00 am–2:30 pm, 2nd 2:00 pm–10:30 pm, 3rd 10:00 pm–6:30 am.
