Job summary

The Building People, LLC is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager with a Secret Clearance to provide on-site construction, facility, and project management services for a federal client. Responsibilities include managing a portfolio of projects, budgeting, scheduling, and space reconfiguration to meet mission needs.

Required experience includes working with GSA/A&E firms, cost estimation, and scheduling in MS Project or Primavera.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in commercial/government facility construction project management.
• Experience interfacing with GSA, A&E firms, suppliers and trades.
• Understanding of construction methodology and scheduling.
• Experience developing government project cost estimates and tracking funding.
• Ability to develop project schedules in MS Project and/or Primavera.
• Ability to direct facility construction activities and run progress meetings.
• Ability to review, store, and print AutoCAD documents.
• Experience on projects with a large percentage of systems furniture.
• Must be able to pass a suitability background and obtain TOP SECRET clearance with SCI eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manage an assigned portfolio of projects.
• Address challenges related to space acquisition, budgeting, scheduling, estimating, and construction.
• Oversee space reconfiguration and tenant outfitting.
• Manage project administration, program management, logistics, and furniture.
• Oversee building upkeep and general facility management.
