Job summary

Le Jardin Academy in Kailua, Hawai'i seeks a Temporary Full-time Secondary Student Support Assistant for the 2026-2027 school year. Responsibilities include tutoring and classroom support for Secondary students, with a 7:45am-4:15pm schedule, Monday–Friday. Requires a High School diploma; 3 years of school experience preferred.

Authorized to work in the United States. Hourly pay starts at $21.00. Report to the Dean of Academics.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3 years of experience working with children or in a school/educational setting.
• Bachelor degree preferred; college coursework a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide ATL or content tutoring to students during scheduled academic support blocks.
• Assist in supervision of Secondary Hale/Hui as assigned by Secondary Deans.
• Collaborate with Learning Support Specialists and teachers to support student needs.
• Develop and communicate support block schedules for students needing additional help.
• Join classes to provide instructional support as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
