Job summary

Le Jardin Academy in Kailua, Hawaii, is seeking a Temporary (One Year) Secondary Student Support Assistant for the 2026-2027 school year. The role provides tutoring and classroom support to secondary students, helping with assignment completion and skill-based instruction during scheduled blocks.

Responsibilities

• Provide ATL or content tutoring to students during scheduled academic support blocks.
• Assist in the supervision of a Secondary Hale/Hui as assigned by Secondary Deans; attend grade-level meetings and planning sessions.
• Work with Learning Support Specialists to provide appropriate support and interventions for Learning Support students.
• Help develop, coordinate, and communicate support block schedules for students needing extra help.
• Collaborate with Deans of Students/Academics and teachers to tailor interventions to student needs.
• Join specific classes as additional instructional or classroom management support when needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
