Job summary

Kamehameha Schools Kapalama Campus in Honolulu, Hawaii, seeks an Elementary School Educational Assistant (Temporary) to join the instructional team and support student learning and safety. High School Diploma is required.
Minimum of 3 years of related experience.
Valid Driver's License.
Ability to supervise a large number of students and ensure safety.
Knowledge of development and behavior of K-12-age children.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Good organizational skills.
Flexibility to adapt to changes and meet program needs.
Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork.

Responsibilities

Supervise students outside instructional periods and in class, ensuring safety and order.
Organize and coordinate classroom, grade level and school activities and events.
Provide direct instructional support to students in various group sizes under teacher direction.
Prepare instructional materials and assist with test administration and other duties as needed.
