The role requires a Kansas teaching license with a Special Education endorsement (or the ability to obtain one) and a commitment to evidence-based instructional practices in a collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• State teaching license with Special Education endorsement (or ability to obtain).
• Ability to design and implement individualized instruction.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement engaging, individualized instruction to meet student needs.
• Use effective teaching strategies and adjust instruction based on student progress.
• Assess student abilities, monitor progress, and provide regular reports.
• Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
• Follow state statutes, school board policies, and district regulations.
• Attend meetings, serve on committees, and complete assigned duties.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure student safety and well-being.
• Stay current on best instructional practices, including educational technology.
