Bell County is seeking a Juvenile Supervision Officer to lead the shift, supervise staff, and manage daily detention operations in Central Texas. The role includes coordinating work schedules, training new employees, and ensuring safety and compliance within the facility.
Responsibilities also include transporting juveniles to court and activities, overseeing intake and reporting, and addressing challenging situations while maintaining high standards of service.

Requires High School graduation or GED equivalent with specialized training supplemented by two (2) years of experience with a juvenile detention center, law enforcement, case work or closely related experience
Performs light to medium work that involves walking or standing virtually all of the time and also involves exerting between 20 and 50 pounds of force on a regular and recurring basis or considerable skill, adeptness and speed in the use of the fingers, hands or limbs in tasks involving close tolerances or limits of accuracy
Involves routine and frequent exposure to: Bright/dim light; Dusts and pollen. Extreme heat and/or cold; Wet or humid conditions. Extreme noise leve;ls, Animals/wildlife. Vibration; Fumes and/or noxious odors. Traffic; Moving machinery. Electrical shock; Heights. Radiation; Disease/pathogens. Toxic/caustic chemicals; Explosives; Violence. Other extreme hazards not listed above
