Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements for subject and level assigned.
• ESL Certification required for all ELA teachers.
• Knowledge of subjects assigned.
• Ability to deliver instruction and manage student behavior.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill district curriculum requirements.
• Plan and use instructional strategies reflecting student needs and accommodations.
• Present subject matter according to TEA guidelines and policies.
• Use technology to strengthen teaching and learning processes.
• Assume responsibility for extracurricular activities as assigned.
