The Southern Tioga School District seeks a qualified Assistant Principal to support the principal in administering North Penn-Mansfield High School. This is a 10-month administration role requiring PA certification and a strong commitment to student achievement.

The successful candidate will supervise staff, participate in board meetings, implement policies, and promote a safe, positive learning environment. Exempt position with crisis leadership and curriculum oversight responsibilities.

Competenze

• A Masters degree from an accredited institution.
• A valid secondary principal certificate issued by the Commonwealth of PA.
• A minimum of five years of successful teaching.
• Experience supervising teaching staff is preferred.
• Excellent reading, writing, report compilation, communications, Personal, and organizational skills.
• Must be a self starter with excellent work habits.

Mansioni

• Cooperate with the principal in maintaining an effective Administrative Team concept.
• Attend all Board meetings and other meetings as directed by the principal and/or superintendent.
• Assist the principal with providing proper supervision for all students during or after school hours.
• Oversee the general safety of students and staff, including fire drills.
• Attend staff meetings as a member of the administrative team and faculty.
• Assist the principal in orientation of new staff and students.
• Assist the principal in the administration of the curriculum within the school.
• Prepare various reports, forms, and correspondence as required.
