Job summary

Clayton County Public Schools is seeking a Title I Secondary Numeracy Instructional Coach to enhance math teaching practices and improve student outcomes. The role emphasizes collaboration with teachers, data-driven planning, and professional development in numeracy.

Ideal candidates will have GaPSC Level 5+ certification, coaching endorsement, and strong interpersonal skills to support diverse learners and build a culture of continuous improvement in mathematics education.

Qualifications

Must hold GaPSC Certification at Level 5+ in content area or related field.
Coaching and content area endorsement required or must be obtained within the first two years of employment.
Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.
Experience with data-driven instruction and PLCs.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with teachers to design, implement, and assess math instruction using student data.
Lead professional development sessions on math instruction techniques, curriculum standards, and assessment strategies.
Support differentiated instruction for diverse learners including English learners and students with special needs.
Facilitate professional learning communities focused on math to share best practices.
