Job summary

McDonald's in Bluffton, SC is seeking a Maintenance Person to assist with daily, weekly, and monthly upkeep of restaurant equipment and interior/exterior cleanliness. This role supports management and may involve stocking, hauling, and light repairs while on an evening shift.

Responsibilities include oil fryer upkeep, grounds cleaning, and cleaning tasks across the restaurant, with a required ability to lift at least 50 pounds. This franchisee is independently owned and operated.

Qualifications

• The Maintenance Person assists management in maintaining interior and exterior restaurant cleanliness and maintaining restaurant equipment.
• The role may include filtering oil fryers daily, cleaning HVAC/Exhaust units, and supporting stock and cleaning duties.
• Must have ability to lift 50 pounds at a minimum.

• Filter oil fryers daily
• Maintain outside grounds
• Clean equipment, windows, stock rooms and restrooms
• Unload delivery truck 2 times a week
• Take out and empty trash compactor
• Change light bulbs
• Clean HVAC/Exhaust units and roof debris
• Pressure-wash sidewalks, drive-thru pads, and building
• Assist with stock up for shifts
• Other miscellaneous responsibilities as required
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds

Job description

Secondary Maintainence is an evening shift. Secondary Maintainence assists Primary Maintainance with repairs; daily, weekly, and monthly maintainance on restaurant equipment; assists with cleaning; and completes truck orders.

Requirements

The Maintenance Person assists management in achieving and maintaining outstanding interior and exterior restaurant cleanliness and maintaining restaurant equipment. As a member of the Maintenance Team, your restaurant will support you with the tools and training needed to succeed.

The Maintenance Person’s responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Filtering oil fryers daily

• Maintaining outside grounds

• Clean equipment, inside and outside windows, stock rooms and restrooms
