Job summary

McDonald’s is seeking a Maintenance Person to support the Maintenance Team with interior and exterior cleanliness and equipment upkeep. The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds and performing various tasks including oil fryer filtration, grounds maintenance, and cleaning across the restaurant.

The position involves assisting with stock, trash removal, and basic repairs, with a focus on keeping the restaurant safe and presentable for customers throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• Maintains interior and exterior restaurant cleanliness and maintaining restaurant equipment.
• Must have ability to lift 50 pounds at a minimum.

Responsibilities

• Filtering oil fryers daily.
• Maintaining outside grounds.
• Clean equipment, inside and outside windows, stock rooms and restrooms.
• Unload delivery truck 2 times a week.
• Take out and empty trash compactor (if applicable).
• Change light bulbs.
• Clean HVAC/Exhaust units and roof of debris.
• Pressure-wash sidewalks, drive-thru pads, and building.
• Assist with stock up for shifts.
• Other miscellaneous responsibilities will also be required.

Secondary Maintainence is an evening shift. Secondary Maintainence assists Primary Maintainance with repairs; daily, weekly, and monthly maintainance on restaurant equipment; assists with cleaning; and completes truck orders.

Requirements:

The Maintenance Person assists management in achieving and maintaining outstanding interior and exterior restaurant cleanliness and maintaining restaurant equipment. As a member of the Maintenance Team, your restaurant will support you with the tools and training needed to succeed.

The Maintenance Person’s responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Filtering oil fryers daily
