The annual pay range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations. We expect this position to be hired in the following target hiring range $70,000-$80,000.

Position Description
Reimagine Education, LLC is seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented Secondary Instructional Technologist to lead the design/implementation of a new virtual school curriculum. This dual-role position combines project management, instructional technology support, and curriculum design expertise to guide and support educators through the adoption process. The ideal candidate will be highly collaborative, tech-savvy, and experienced in virtual learning environments and 6-12 curriculum integration. This position will work directly with the teachers, administrators and technology department. This position will work in collaboration with the MIPS teachers and with various chosen vendors to design, create and upload curriculum into the learning management system for student and teacher use. This position will report directly to the MS/HS Principal.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Required/Master's Degree preferred, preferably in Education Technology, Instructional Design/Technology, or a related field
- Four plus years of experience in education, working in instructional design, teacher development, or training
- Experience teaching elementary classes and/or training elementary staff
- Knowledge and understanding of the instructional design process and online teaching and learning
- Working knowledge of and experience using a learning management system and its tools
- Google Certified is preferred
- Broad, functional knowledge of and proficiency in using common software applications and instructional technology tools
- Proven knowledge of accessibility in online courses
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and priorities
- Demonstrated ability to interact with all levels of faculty and staff including the ability to work successfully in a team environment
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Experience with Quality Matters or similar quality control program for online courses
- Work well with a team and have very strong communication and organizational skills.
Essential Duties
Project Management
- Oversee the end-to-end project for design/implementation of a new virtual elementary curriculum across grade levels K-5.
- Develop and maintain a clear project timeline with milestones, deliverables, and check-ins.
- Coordinate with curriculum vendors, internal instructional staff, and IT teams to ensure a smooth rollout.
- Track progress and troubleshoot any roadblocks to ensure timely and effective curriculum adoption.
- Provide regular status updates to school leadership and stakeholders.
Instructional Technology & LMS Integration
- Support teachers in loading and organizing the new curriculum into the district’s Learning Management System (LMS).
- Customize digital course shells to reflect grade-appropriate pacing guides, standards alignment, and interactive materials.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for teachers navigating the LMS during implementation.
- Collaborate with IT staff to address system compatibility, access issues, and content syncing.
Curriculum Design & Implementation Support
- Assist in adapting the new curriculum for virtual live lessons that are engaging and pedagogically sound.
- Work one-on-one and in small groups with teachers to plan and model virtual instruction using the new curriculum. Lead in the coordination of Artificial Intelligence in the curriculum development and instructional practices of teachers.
- Create guides, training materials, and best practices to help teachers effectively deliver the curriculum in a virtual format.
- Review lesson plans and instructional activities for alignment with standards, instructional goals, and digital pedagogy.
- Works with staff to design, develop, and revise instructionally sound online courses.
- Consults with staff about using technology, multimedia, AI, and learning systems to improve online teaching and learning.
- Works collaboratively and closely with other Curriculum and Instructional Support units and faculty to develop online and hybrid courses.
- Implements measures for ensuring quality in online and hybrid courses.
- Facilitates the development and delivery of training and development opportunities to enhance the skills and competencies of faculty who develop and teach online and hybrid courses.
- Researches, evaluates, and assesses the latest technology, learning media, and learning systems best practices in online design, development, and delivery.
