Job summary

Mount Si High School in Snoqualmie Valley School District is seeking a Certificated Teacher for Secondary Ceramics as a Leave Replacement for 2026-27. This 1.0 FTE position serves grades 9-12 with an anticipated start January 11, 2027 and end June 11, 2027.

Salary ranges from $71,524 to $141,181 per year according to the 2026-27 SVEA schedule. Requires valid Washington State certificate with endorsement and industry experience in Commercial Arts or Ceramics to qualify for CTE certification under

Qualifications

• Valid Washington State certificate with appropriate endorsement required (students may submit a note stating when certificate is expected).
• Industry experience in Commercial Arts or Ceramics is required to become CTE certified with Vcode V500400 Commercial Arts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, differentiated Tier I instruction using Washington State standards and district curriculum.
• Collaborate with colleagues, analyze student data, and identify students needing Tier II supports.
• Communicate progress with families and contribute to the school's Multi-Tiered System of Supports to promote equitable outcomes.
