Job summary

LifeWise Academy in Ohio seeks a part-time LifeWise teacher for grades 6-12 with strong Bible knowledge and teaching ability. The ideal candidate is an active church participant with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, caring and committed to sharing LifeWise values.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience.
• Mature personal Christian faith in agreement with the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise's beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training including LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum and map curriculum customization.
• Maintain accurate student attendance and class rosters with health notes and permissions.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom and prepared materials for substitutes.
• Communicate with the program director, school personnel and volunteers; promote LifeWise mission.
