You will work 1:1 with a KS3 pupil who has ASD, supporting learning and daily routines throughout the school day. The role requires prior ASD experience and a compassionate, reliable approach. You will collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to promote the pupil's confidence, independence and progress, with an ASAP start and long-term commitment.

The Role - ASD Teaching Assistant

As an ASD Teaching Assistant, you will work on a 1:1 basis with a KS3 pupil with ASD, supporting them throughout the school day. You will help implement tailored learning strategies, encourage positive interactions and assist with managing routines and behaviour. Working alongside the class teacher and SENCO, you will play an important role in promoting the pupil's confidence, independence and overall progress. Previous experience supporting children with ASD is required.
