Job summary

Paycom in Doraville, GA is seeking a Welder for the 2nd shift to produce high-quality welded pipe assemblies in a fast-paced fabrication environment.

The Welder will operate automated welding and plasma equipment, perform rewelds, inspect assemblies, and ensure compliance with company and industry standards. You will read work orders, measure dimensions, and maintain a safe, organized work area on a daily basis.

Qualifications

• MIG welding experience in production or fabrication.
• Ability to read and follow work orders and drawings.
• Basic math and measurement skills required.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated welding and plasma equipment to weld outlets onto pipe per specs.
• Perform manual rewelds with handheld welding tools as needed.
• Load, position, and unload pipe using proper material handling.
• Inspect welded assemblies for quality and compliance.
• Apply certification stamps to completed welds."
• Transfer finished pipe to carts for downstream processing or shipping.
• Read work orders and fabrication documents to complete tasks accurately.
• Measure materials with tape measures to verify dimensions.
• Maintain production output while meeting safety standards.
• Perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Keep work areas clean and organized per SOPs.
• Complete required safety and operation trainings.
• Support other fabrication or warehouse activities as needed.
