Job summary

Trane Technologies' Thermo King division is seeking an on-site welding technician to join our team in Hastings, NE. You will perform welding and grinding on assemblies, read Thermo King prints, and ensure quality welds in aluminum and steel while meeting department standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and completion of the GMAW 1 welding course; forklift certification and Thermo King certification are considered assets.

Qualifications

• Must read and understand Thermo King prints for department.
• Must complete welding demonstration.
• Internal applicants must complete GMAW 1 course before consideration.
• External hires must begin Thermo King Certification within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding and grinding operations on assemblies using wire feed arc welding machines.
• Read and interpret TK prints for the department.
• Demonstrate high-quality welds in aluminum and steel to department standards.
• Use measuring equipment and load/unload jigs and fixtures as required.
• Complete and maintain two of the necessary certifications.
• Familiarity with ISO, Windchill, Kanban and related documentation.
