Trane Technologies is seeking a welding professional for our on-site production facility in the United States. You will perform in- and out-of-position welding, hand fabrication, and participate in lab trainings for Trane and ASME/PED certifications.

You will receive instructions from management and operate forklifts, cranes, and hoists to support production goals. Responsibilities include quality checks, problem solving, 5-S/lean activities, tool maintenance, and cross-functional communication

Qualifications

• Completion of formal welding program or equivalent on the job experience.
• Required Weld Process: 2F, 2G.
• Preferred Weld Process: 3F, 3G, 4F, 4G.
• Completion of company approved proficiency test prior to employment.
• Manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Ability to read, write, and follow directions, standard work, job breakdown sheets, and safety instructions in English.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
• Successful completion of a background check and drug screen is required.

Responsabilités

• Performs in and out of position welding.
• Performs hand fabricating.
• Participate in weld lab classroom training for Trane and ASME/PED certifications as needed.
• Receives work instructions from a member of management or a team lead.
• Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and hoists
• Performing quality checks and tests as well as assisting in identifying and resolving problems.
• Must participate in basic problem solving, 5-S, and lean activities.
• Maintain and inspect tools and equipment and escalate issues as necessary.
• Basic functional knowledge of computers and ability to read and acknowledge work instructions electronically.
• Effectively communicate with cross-functional departments to ensure parts are brought to the production line in a timely manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
