Job summary

Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is seeking a Wastewater Technician in Tulsa, OK. You will operate, maintain, monitor and adjust wastewater treatment systems to meet federal, state, and local regulations.

The role requires collaboration with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams to ensure safe, compliant plant operation. The position involves 2nd shift hours (Mon-Thurs 4:00pm–2:30am) with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; wastewater license preferred but not required.
• Experience with NPDES permit tests and process control testing.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, symbols, charts and graphs.
• Knowledge of safety policies and chemical handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor wastewater treatment systems to ensure compliance.
• Perform preventive maintenance on pumps, tanks, and related equipment.
• Collect samples and conduct laboratory tests per standards.
• Prepare reports and maintain records of operations and regulatory data.
• Respond to alarms and troubleshoot process issues.
• Coordinate maintenance tasks with the site team.
