Join a team within UTLX tasked with loading/unloading, yard movement, and efficiency. Pay ranges from $20.99 to $25.10 per hour, plus a $1.50 premium for 2nd/3rd shift hours.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma/GED.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Able to work effectively in a team and independently.
• Able to follow written and/or verbal instructions with minimal supervision.
• Dependable and reliable to show up for scheduled shifts, including overtime.

Responsibilities

• Operates locomotive to transport material and spot rail cars according to a switch list.
• Regularly operates locomotive in congested areas with caution to prevent damage or injuries.
• Operates switches and directs flow of cars in the rail yard.
• Maintains a neat, orderly area and reports hazards.
• Adheres to safety rules to prevent injuries.
