Marmon Holdings, Inc. Railserve is hiring a Rail Switching Technician in Middletown, OH. This full-time, outdoor, hands-on role keeps railcars moving safely and efficiently in industrial facilities.

We provide paid training, strong leadership support, and long-term career opportunities within a safety-focused team. Rotating 8-hour day shifts with a pay range of $22.00–$24.00 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Review track lists to identify railcars for spotting, separation, loading, or outbound movement.
• Safely connect, secure, and position railcars by setting brakes and verifying proper couplings.
• Separate loaded, empty, and pre-loaded cars to support efficient yard flow.
• Verify weights of inbound and outbound railcars to ensure compliance.
• Operate switches, derails, and trackside equipment to support safe rail movements.
• Communicate with crew members using radio, hand signals, and visual indicators.
